At our design studio near Abergavenny on the Welsh border we have been making bridal fantasies’ into reality for over 30 years. We serve our clientele from all around the UK and internationally, providing updates and consultations via phone and email with minimal studio visits required.

Our designers and seamstresses are highly skilled with many years of experience in bridal couture as well as backgrounds in costume for television and theatre. We specialise in traditional boned corsetry which can be incorporated into your design to give you the ultimate hourglass silhouette for your big day.

We craft our gowns using the finest pure silks and laces, with a myriad of colours and designs for you to choose from. Whether you want a billowing ethereal ball-gown or a glamorous and slinky fishtail gown we will help you select the perfect fabrics to bring you ideas to life.

How it Works

Initial Consultation

The first step towards creating your dream gown will be a complimentary consultation at the studio where you can discuss your ideas and requirements with your designer at leisure. You will be able to browse our many gorgeous fabric sample books for inspiration and your designer will produce some initial sketches for you. You will then be provided with a detailed costing for your dress based on your choices. If you are happy with the designs at this stage, then your booking can be made to reserve the space for your given wedding date.

First Fitting

Your dress will be made in the form of a calico toile pattern ready to be fitted to you at this stage. This will be used to refine the fit, boning placement and other details of your gown before being cut in your chosen fabric.  

Further Fittings

Once your dress has been made in your chosen fabrics you will be invited for fittings at various stages through the construction process so that every detail and embellishment is perfectly placed. This is also when we will ensure the perfection of fit which is the hallmark of a bespoke gown.

Co-ordinating bespoke hairpieces, veils and lingerie are available to order and expert advice will be provided on selecting accessories for the finishing touch to your bridal ensemble.
